Reporter the new Malayalam channel related to news is expected to be launched today on May 11, 2011. Reporter will be a 24 hour news channel with HD quality. The channel will be the first HD channel from South India.

Indo Asian News channel will be launching the Reporter Malayalam channel and MV Nikesh Kumar is the managing director of the company. News presenter MV Nikesh Kumar was the ex-chief executive officer and news reporter for India Version. Many local distributers will be distributing the channel in Kerala. The company has invested around 15 crore for setting up the channel and it is expected that the ad revenue generated will be 1 crore.
