Jilla movie joins100 crore club box office collections worldwide

Finally, Ilayathalapathy Vijay’s Jilla film has crossed 100 crores at worldwide box office as per the estimation recorded till date as on 16th January, 2014.

The film Jilla has surpassed 100 crore within few days which includes Satellite rights, distribution rights and domestic gross.

Though, Vijay’s earlier film Thalaivaa faced many controversies during the release time, Jilla witnessed great demand among the distributors and marketers in key areas.

The film Jilla starring Vijay and Kajal Agarwal also witnessed never before response from many regions though the makers kept the movie under low publicity.

The ditribution rights of Jilla garnered Rs 34 crores from key places like Chennai, NSC, Madurai, Salem and many other places.

Vijay has a huge market in Kerala and Mohanlal’s combo has taken the film to great success at Kerala box office. Vijay’s movie usually brings Rs. 1 to Rs. 2 crores but Jilla fetched around Rs 4 crores.
