Karan Singh Grover-Shraddha Arya were approached for Arnav Khushi

Star Plus highest TRP show Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon is getting popular day by day of soppy scenes and intense romantic chemistry between Barun Sobti and Sanaya Irani.

Though Barun and Sanaya have been ruling the hearts of fans for their Arnav and Khushi role, they are not the first choice for the show. Television’s hunk Karan Singh Grover aka Dr. Armaan of Dill Mill Gayye was approached for the role of hard to please, arrogant business tycoon Arnav Singh Raizada.

But, Karan Singh Grover was interested in movies so the offer went toward Barun Sobti who was also not convinced in the beginning due to tough look.

Besides the role of Arnav, earlier Shraddha Arya, presently playing the role of Laxmi in Life OK show Main Laxmi Tere Angan Keon was finalized for the role of Khushi Kumari Gupta, which is presently being played by Sanaya Irani.
